Sure, you could hold your next Florida business gathering at a reception hall with the usual drab décor, expected chicken or pasta meal options, and uncomfortable seating, but why would you now that you have the option to rent Legoland instead?
Legoland in Winter Haven has been open less than a year, but started receiving rental requests before their doors were even open. Suzan Bunn with the Rosen College of Hospitality Management at the University of Central Florida says,
“The move makes sense. All of the established theme parks in Central Florida host corporate events. It’s really common, especially during the offseason, for attractions to do these kinds of things. It helps them fill in those slow periods of time when they don’t have people coming to the park. They can fill in other business in that time period and obviously make revenue.”
Not Just Another Boring Work Meeting
Liven up business gatherings by holding your next corporate seminar, conference, or work convention in the Wells Fargo 4D Theatre or Pirates’ Cove at Legoland. You can even have your employees take part in customized team-building events which can include a scavenger hunt in Miniland USA or contest in the Imagination Zone’s Build & Test.
