Sticky Stuff on the Back of Small Squared Paper? Brilliant!
We’ve all had that late night enthusiastic conversation with a close friend about an incredible idea you wish you could bring to life. For me and my bestie, we want to invent a toilet seat that automatically closes with each flush. We’ve even come up with a super witty name, but of course, cannot divulge. Well, a couple buddies name Scott Tindle and David Powers had one of those conversations, and actually followed through with their idea. They are now the founders of a company called TieTry, an online site that offers tie rentals.
As attorneys, both Tindle and Powers agreed men should have an outlet that allows them to expand their wardrobe without breaking the bank. This concept has been readily available to women for some time from sites including Rent the Runway and Bag Borrow or Steal. Now, for those whose daily attire includes donning a tie, you have access to hundreds of different styles, colors, and brands without spending an excessive amount of money. This site is also perfect for all you jean and t-shirt lovers that need a tie for a special occasion, and don’t want to purchase one.
“Knot” a Difficult Process
The process is simple. You sign up for one of TieTry’s predetermined membership plans, which by the way, are very reasonable in my opinion. Next step, peruse their selection, and choose ties for your own personal queue (think Netflix). Ties will be mailed directly to your doorstep, and you keep them for as long as you wish. When you’re done with one, you just send it back in the enclosed prepaid envelope, and the next tie in line will be shipped out. You are not even responsible for cleaning off the coffee stains!
Renting, the Affordable Choice
As with any periodically used item, renting just makes sense. Why shell out big bucks to purchase something that is only used occasionally or needed for just a temporary amount of time? Instead, save your money, and rent that item. The best source to locate rental items is Rent It Today. Check us out for vacation rentals, party and costume items, baby gear, construction equipment, exotic cars, and so much more!
Update: according to their website, TieTry has been acquired by Freshneck. Visit their website by clicking here.
