Huge Bucket Truck Fleet Assembled in Preparation for Hurricane Dorian

A 135 acre site in Sumter County, Florida has been turned into a staging area by Duke Energy in preparation for restoring power should Hurricane Dorian unleash its devastation on the East coast of the USA.

A bucket truck fleet comprised of an estimated 7000 line trucks, tree trimming trucks, and vehicles which can operate in high water is currently assembled and ready to respond anywhere they are needed to restore utilities.

Crews from the entire Midwest and as far away as Texas have responded to the need for energy response teams, and have been warmly welcomed by residents of the region.
