So which islands made the list? At the top was Maui who found itself at the top of the rankings thanks to its beautiful beaches and a variety of attractions. Joining Maui in the top 10 were two other Hawaii locations – Oahu and the island of Hawaii – along with three beaches in Florida (Key West, Amelia Island, Marco Island), Hilton Head (SC), Mount Desert Island (ME), Mackinac Island (MI), and Chincoteague Island (VA).
