Garden State Plaza Mall
Hailed by the New York Times as “perhaps the single most influential mall in the country”, this shopping mecca, located in Paramus, is the state’s largest premier shopping center, featuring 285 shops, several restaurants, and a movie theater. New Jersey Naval Museum
The museum, located on the Hackensack River in Hackensack, is home to a 312-foot long WWII submarine as well as an extensive collection of unique wartime history items. The museum was damaged during Hurricane Sandy, but guided tours are still available during the remodel. Group tours are offered to observe naval ships such as the USS Ling 297, German Seahund, and Japanese Kaiten IIs.

Located in Englewood, Space Odyssey is “one of the hottest entertainment spots in the area,” featuring bowling, laser tag, and paint-less paintball. The 26,000 square foot venue is the perfect place to host a birthday or corporate party.
Bergen County Zoo
Enjoy live animal shows as well as train, carousel and pony rides at the Bergen County Zoo in Paramus. Shows are free with zoo admission, first-come, first-served. Children can ride ponies and there’s plenty of exotic animals to observe and pet.
