  4. SunRiver Resort: Located at the foothills of the Cascades, the three courses here have hosted many high-profile events over the years. Plus, the scenery around the Deschutes and Little Deschutes is “unforgettable.”

Portland

  1. Indian Creek Golf Club: Take in views of Mount Hood while playing at this course in Hood River.
  2. Skamania Lodge: Enjoy playing among the many trees at this course which is one of the best spots to watch the season change from summer to fall.
  3. Mountain View Golf Club: The name says it all.
  4. Resort at the Mountain: See above. Plus, they have fly-fishing.
  5. Camas Meadows Golf Club: Located in Washington, this is one of the best courses in the Vancouver area.
  6. Salem Golf Club: Near Eugene, this country-club type course was built in 1928.
  7. Running Y Ranch: Near the California border, this is the only Arnold Palmer signature course in Oregon.
