These days, it seems like we can’t go more than a few days before writing about another bike-share or bike-rental program popping up in a U.S. city. On the heels of our latest blog entry on Skyride, comes a major announcement from the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront who recently debuted an urban bike rental program for their guests.
The rental program, which directly ties to the hotel’s commitment to health and well-being, allows guests to rent a bike to explore downtown and encourages them to “connect with all that the city’s urban core has to offer,” according to a recent story in Metro Jacksonville. The hotel’s bicycle rentals are street cruisers featuring brightly colored frames.
Rentals also include a helmet, bike lock, and basket and are available 24 hours a day from the concierge desk so guests can ride along the Riverwalk or hit one of two detailed routes through downtown Jacksonville.
The cost of a rental is $25 per day and interested guests must be 18 years of age or older.
