Growing up, most people have at one time or another fantasized about their dream car. According to a recent article in the Houston Chronicle, there is a strong demand for luxury car rentals at the city’s only Enterprise to offer these types of vehicles. Launched in 2006 in Southern California, Enterprise’s “exotic car collection” features a total of 40 makes and models. Due to increasing demand, the company has expanded to 13 locations in six states including the most recent one in Houston.
According to the article, the most popular vehicles are the Mercedes-Benz S550, the Audi A8, and the BMW 750. Enterprise also stocks Porsche coupes, the Cadillac Escalade, and Range Rovers. Rates for the vehicles range from $200-$350 per day depending on model and are delivered directly to the customer’s door. After a long downturn that began in 2008, the car rental industry appears to be rebounding overall and demand for exotic cars has seen a boost over the last six months.
