We’ve all seen the commercials. You know the ones. A mom or boyfriend or daughter walks outside on Christmas morning to find a brand new Lexus wearing an oversize bow on its roof sitting in the driveway. There are smiles and hugs and kisses and for those watching as this scene plays out at home, a few eye rolls.

This year, rental car company Super Cheap Car Rentals, is getting into the spirit of the holiday season by giving away a vehicle of its own. This one, however, isn’t wearing a bow and isn’t brand new. In fact, it’s “not so new”. According to a company press release, Super Cheap Car Rentals will select a random winner of a used car from its rental fleet as part of its “Not So New Car Giveaway” contest.

The contest, which was launched on the company’s Facebook page earlier this year, runs through December 31st. The grand prize winner will be selected at random from testimonials posted to the company’s Facebook or Twitter pages. According to a company spokesperson, the more original the entry, the better. The company claims that its vehicles are some of the most reliable vehicles on the road and the car to be given away will be no exception.

For details on the contest, visit www.facebook.com/supercheapcarrental. Super Cheap Car Rentals is a family-owned and operated business that provides long-term car rentals to individuals in the L.A., San Francisco, Orange County, and San Jose areas.
