It’s my personal belief, everyone should visit New York City at least once in their lifetime. Whether you go for the history and sites of the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building, the shopping on Fifth Avenue, the Broadway shows of Times Square, the amazing art at the Guggenheim Museum, to stroll across the beautiful acres of Central Park, or to pay respect at the former location of the World Trade Center, there really is something for every appetite in the Big Apple.
If you thirst for something new and exciting in NYC, you may want to check out Minus5. Minus5 is a new ice bar located in midtown Manhattan. The first of its kind in the area, Minus5 offers a unique experience to anyone who enters this watering hole.
“After paying a $20 cover charge, guests are outfitted with disposable gloves and a parka (or faux fur for $45) and led through two large metal doors into what is essentially an industrial walk-in freezer kept at 23 degrees Fahrenheit.” – excerpt from NYTimes.com
