According to a recent article in Entrepreneur magazine, the growing community of tech startups in the Queen City have been powered by accelerator programs, low business taxes and unemployment rates, and partnerships with established companies.

In 2012, Duke Energy, Procter & Gamble, and other big-name companies in the region banded together to create Cintrifuse, an organization that connects entrepreneurs and startups in Cincinnati with mentors, investors, and partners. This organization, along with accelerator program The Brandery and seed-stage investor CincyTech, have helped several tech startups not only get off the ground, but also get noticed. City officials and industry leaders in Cincinnati hope this attention will draw more entrepreneurs to the region and solidify the city’s spot on the list of top hubs for tech startups.
