RENTAL TERMS & REQUIREMENTS
Rental Hours Are Between 9AM - 4PM for Regular boat & 9AM - 5PM for Premium Boats
Rentals returned late are subject to a late fee of $125 for every 15 minutes late *NO EXCEPTIONS*
Renter/Driver of boat must be 25 years or older; All drivers must leave a valid driver’s license at the front
desk for the duration of the rental.
Renter and all potential driver must have a valid drivers license and credit card present at time of rental (even paying cash)
Due to parking limitations, only 1 car is allowed per rental boat; Additional parking is available at our
storage facility 1⁄4 mile down the road. Shuttles are tentatively available on weekends and holidays.
Rental can be paid with CASH, VISA, MasterCard or Discover Only
Rental fees do not include gas, oil or any applicable state sales tax
No pets or BBQ grills are allowed, no exceptions
Any boat that is over maximum capacity will be ticketed and the rental contract will be terminated without refund
**NEW TO 2018** NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED ON THE BOATS – due to a high spike in alcohol
related damages, we are no longer allowing alcohol on our boats. *NO EXCEPTIONS*
Any customer found in violation of our terms and conditions are subject to fines and immediate rental
New Regulations and Rental Policy:
All renters must have obtained a "Safe Water Skiing Endorsement" from the state of Connecticut to legally tow any water sports items such as water skis, wake boards, surf boards, tube, ETC.
All renters choosing to engage in towing activities must have a valid boating certificate issued from CT, MA, NH, NY or RI and have a Connecticut Safe Water Skiing Endorsement. If certification was obtained prior to October 1st, 2015 then the "Safe Water Skiing Endorsement" is not needed.
Steps for Non-Certification Holders:
1. Obtain a New York state safe boating certificate online here: http://www.boatus.org/newyork/
2. Obtain a Connecticut Conservation ID number by following these instructions: http://www.ct.gov/deep/lib/deep/boating/boating_docs/swe_conservation_id.pdf
***You must obtain this ID number if you wish to proceed***
3. Use the newly obtained Connecticut Conservation ID to take the Connecticut Safe Water Skiing Endorsement here: http://www.boaterexam.com/usa/connecticut/
4. Bring a copy of the Connecticut Safe Water Skiing Endorsement or other acceptable certification with you at time of rental.
Reservation and Cancellation Policy
A $50.00 non-refundable, non-transferable reservation fee is applied to your credit card to hold your boat reservation (We take a $50.00 deposit per boat). If you cancel, reschedule, and/or change your reservation what so ever, it will cost you the deposit you put down on the boat. In addition, the FULL rental fee will be charged for any reservation that is canceled, rescheduled and/or changed at any time within the prior 3 days (not including the day of rental) of the reservation date (for example, if the reservation date is July 25th, the time frame that it would cost you the full price of the rental instead of the deposit would be July 22nd to July 25th). A 'no show' to the reservation will also be charged the FULL rental fee. All reservations need to put made through the website with the exception of special pricing.
