Taluswood Heights is an exclusive enclave of luxury homes on the lower slopes of Whistler Mountain. It is the highest residential development in Whistler and consequently commands the best views in the resort. It is also positioned adjacent to the Dave Murray Downhill ski trail and so also offers ski-in, ski-out access - a 1-2 minute ski will take you right to the gondola.
Heights 8 has probably the best location within the Taluswood Heights complex, being at the south west corner with views on two sides over both the Whistler valley and the ski trails of Whistler Mountain. It is an immaculate and luxurious home with 4 bedrooms including 2 master suites and 3 full bathrooms plus a guest powder room.
Entry is onto the main floor, where a large slate-floored entryway provides ample outerwear storage facilities as well as access to the private double garage where skis, snowboards and bikes can be stored. Steps from here lead down to the main living area, which is a beautiful space with windows on two sides. The gourmet kitchen is fully-equipped whilst the dining table has seating for 8 in comfort. The living area is particularly attractive with a large gas fireplace, large flat-screen HD TV and plentiful comfortable seating.
Upstairs are two master bedroom suites, each with king bed and luxury ensuite bathroom. One has its own deck overlooking the Dave Murray Downhill.
Downstairs are two further bedrooms, each of which can be set up with either a king or two twin/single beds, so this home offers very flexible accommodation for different groups. The downstairs landing also gives access to the covered deck with private hot tub.
