Property Description
Indian Lake Vacation Rental:
Pawnee
Lakefront vacationing at its best! Surrounded by trees, mother nature and 750-acres of pristine lake.
Indian Lake is surrounded by two thousand acres of fully developed recreation land nestled high in the Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania. It is an exciting combination of beauty, relaxation and activity. You'll enjoy this mountain resort as a full or part-time resident in a community planned with a lake and golf courses as focal points. Practically all homesites front either on the water of Indian Lake or the Indian Lake Golf Club (a championship golf course originally designed by Arnold Palmer) or are within minutes of a public 18 hole golf course offering lodging and banquet facilities.
Indian Lake is a 2000 acre incorporated Boro with a horseshoe-shaped 750-acre lake with average depths of about 35 ft. Because of its narrow contours and protective shorelines that contain and diminish wakes, Indian Lake offers some of the best water-skiing conditions in Pa. There are also many other water activities to participate in. Indian Lake also offers many activities for land-lovers. There is hiking, bird watching, 2 golf courses or you can spend the day beaching out.
The Lodge at Indian Lake offers a restaurant, bar and 18 hole golf course. A privately owned marina provides fuel and servicing for all types of crafts. They have new and used boats for sale, storage and cleaning. The Marina is within easy walking distance of our office, so cruise up in your boat or car and check out the real estate market any time.
Winter Sports abound too. The lake usually freezes over between January and March, with ice-skating, ice-sailing, cross country skiing and even some skimobiling. Also, many home owners use their lake homes as a base for downhill skiing at nearby Hidden Valley and Seven Springs.
