We are Russell and Erin, the parents of two young children, daughter Rosie and son Eli. We are L.A. Baby Gear Rental and operate the business from our home in the suburbs of Los Angeles. We are both originally from New York and made the move to the West Coast before our children were born. We ended up staying and having a family here but left lots of family and friends behind on the East Coast. So we’ve done a fair amount of traveling across the country. It’s from these travels that we refined our ideas for L.A. Baby Gear Rental, deciding that we would like to make a living helping travelers like ourselves better enjoy travels with their babies and toddlers.
Traveling is often cumbersome and generally an uncomfortable task. To do it with small children can be quite a busy endeavor. For one toddler alone a pack n play, a stroller and a car seat are the basic requirements.

“I’m afraid we will have to charge you an additional $50 to check the pack and play and an additional $25 for each suitcase, unless the baby has his own ticket.” Those were the words that led us to say, “there must be another, easier, way to travel with little ones!?!”
