Hertz Global Holdings

Continued Expansion in Tri-State Market

In a news release dated September 25, 2012, Hertz Global Holdings announced that Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (HERC) has acquired Pioneer Equipment Rental and Sales, a prominent Oklahoma-based construction and industrial equipment rental company. Pioneer serves the Oklahoma, Southern Kansas and Northern Texas markets.

Established in 1998, Pioneer Equipment Rental and Sales is a leading independent rental company specializing in the rental and sale of equipment for industrial, construction, earth moving, and material handling applications.

Pioneer also offers extensive repair and maintenance programs with comprehensive parts inventories, mobile service, planned maintenance, and fleet management.

Revenue Addition Bolsters Bottom Line

Based on prior performance, it is estimated Pioneer Rental will add $25 million of annual revenue to HERC.

By acquiring Pioneer Rental, HERC continues expansion of its footprint in the Oklahoma equipment rental market and gains access to a broader range of contractor and industrial businesses.

The Pioneer addition brings the total number of HERC locations in Oklahoma to twelve, while advancing HERC’s industrial penetration in the oil and gas market.
