Where To Rent Construction Equipment in Tampa, Florida

Florida, Tampa Bay

Although the U.S. economy has a ways to go before it has completely dug itself out of the hole from the most recent recession, there have been a few positive signs that at lease one industry is on the road to recovery. According to a recent story by Jo-Lynn Brown for the Tampa Bay Business Journal, the projected Florida Department of Transportation infrastructure projects in Tampa Bay alone could total more than $630 million this year, according to a report from Reed Construction Data.

The demand for construction on the state is driven by “vibrant industries” such as health care and the “large presence of universities,” says Bernard Markstein, U.S. chief economist for Reed. Markstein also points to a strong leisure and travel industry and a boost in demand for multifamily housing units in Tampa Bay as key factors behind Reed’s projections. It should be noted that all projects included in the report have been proposed but may not be completed in 2014.

Reed Construction Data provides bidding information for civic and commercial projects for the construction industry. A division of Reed Business Information, it is located in Atlanta.

Renting a large excavator like this could probably save you quite a bit of time, and money. It might cost more to rent one than it does to buy a shovel, but time is money. Spending a couple hours with an excavator sure beats spending a week shoveling dirt. Also, because it is a rental, you don't need to worry about fixing something if it breaks.
