Janet Jackson’s Central Park Apartment Up for Rent

Most of us would agree that in many parts of the country $35K per year is an OK salary for someone who is single or perhaps lives a modest life. If you want to rent Janet Jackson’s Central Park apartment, however, $35K won’t last long. In fact, that salary won’t even cover first and last month’s rent.

Earlier this month, the singer, who recently married billionaire Wissam Al Mana, listed her Trump International apartment at 1 Central Park W. in New York for $35,000 per month. Purchased in 1998 for just under $10 million, the 2,093 square foot unit features three bedrooms and three baths and amazing floor-to-ceiling windows that offer beautiful views of Central Park.

Located on the 34th floor, the unit offers several amenities including a pool, spa, valet parking, maid service, and 24-hour room service from “the celebrated chefs at Jean Georges.” According to a report on Zillow, the unit is being rented furnished or unfurnished.

So where is Miss Jackson going to crash now that her apartment is on the rental market? Not to worry. Jackson’s husband, who she wed in a private ceremony a year ago, is a successful Qatari businessman who is said to own at least three different homes in as many countries.

I would definitely rent this one before I would rent Bieber's place.

I agree, @ShellWhip. In fact, I would probably rent a cardboard box before I'd rent Beib's abode.
