Being the ultimate rental resource, we like to inform our customers of everything rent related, including helpful tips when renting items. Some of those tips have included how to negotiate a reasonable rent, how to choose the right RV for your vacation, and getting the most out of a satellite phone. This edition features the #1 thing to NOT do when renting a Lamborghini. Wanna take a guess? I’ll give you a couple hints: Today’s tip is brought to you by the letter I for “idiot” and the number 19 for the idiot’s age.

Rental To-Do List

Let’s start with a list of things you WILL want to do before you take a Lamborghini rental out for a spin.

  • Check yourself -You may be denied a rental if you have something on your driving record outside of speeding tickets. Actually, to rent a Lamborghini, a lead foot would be a seemingly fitting prerequisite. You will also want to make sure you have rental cars are covered under your insurance. The dealer is going to check both of those anyway, so you might as well plan ahead.
  • Educate yourselfExotic cars are often built differently than you average Mom-mobile. Your rental dealer will probably be more than happy to help you navigate the ins and outs of the car. Mostly, because he doesn’t want you wrecking his precious Lambo. Oh, and for your safety, too.
  • Pat yourself – If you have enough money to rent an exotic car, which could run you anywhere from $400 to $26,000 per day, you’ve done something right in your professional life. Pat yourself on the back, then call me with your successful secrets.

Now, back to the point of this article. The one thing you will certainly want to avoid when renting a Lamborghini (or any car for that matter) is getting behind the wheel drunk….especially when you are under the drinking age…..and then drag racing down a popular street in California….all the while being filmed by the paparazzi.

My One Dollar & Two Cents

Justin Bieber

This may be a “duh” concept to most of us, but it obviously wasn’t to Justin Bieber. I’m not sure if it’s ignorance due to age, lost brain cells due to alleged drug use, or because he’s been treated like a King his entire life, but someone needs a bit of a reality check. Hopefully, hanging out behind steel bars for a bit will wake this boy up. If not the jail itself, maybe being forced to wear an orange jumpsuit that actually fits and not his usual pants that hang down to his ankles will open his eyes. At the very least, maybe he’ll realize a warm butt really is the way to go and change up his gangsta’ attire. And lest we forget, he could have seriously hurt someone during this whole charade. I can tell you one thing for certain – if my child were in a car that was hit by a drunk 19 year old drag racing an exotic car, a stint in jail would sound like a dream vacation. Spoken like a true Mama, huh?

If you are sober, have a good driving record and insurance to match, you can find your dream Lamborghini rental through Rent It Today from one of our exotic car rental partners including Imagine Lifestyles, and GP Luxury Rentals.

Wrong train wreck Kyle. Vanilla was driving a 5.0 with a ragtop down so his hair could blow. Biebs in rolling in a Lambo...

What's with this Vanilla Ice look he's going after?

I have a feeling it's all downhill from here on out for the Biebs.

(and he looks like he needs to pull up his skinny jeans)

I agree, @ShellWhip. I don't know how he could ever recover from the last 3 years worth of craziness.

Amen! He is getting out of hand with all this bad behavior. I use to feel bad for him because people are waiting for him to mess up. BUT he hands it to those people on a silver platter! Get a reality check!

Sorry your bf has been letting you down lately, @Tamela Lay. Maybe the two of you need a vacay away from everyone so he can refocus on you and his music.
