Raising a kid is expensive – and that’s before deciding to drop over $1,000 on the latest status stroller from trendy brand Bugaboo. Launched in Europe earlier this year, the Buffalo is Bugaboo’s new “all-terrain” model featuring an extendable sun canopy, large shopping basket, and a hefty $1,129 price tag.

All the Bells and Whistles

An upgrade over the brand’s iconic Chameleon model, the new Buffalo compares to other popular strollers on the market such as the UPPAbaby Vista. Although a bit heavier than the Vista, the Buffalo can fold into one piece and the seat can be reclined with one hand.

Demand for the Dutch brand Bugaboo began back in 2003 after its famous Frog model was featured in a episode of the popular television show “Sex in the City” and in recent years has been spotted being pushed by A-List moms Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Middleton.

Currently available in select specialty shops, the Buffalo will arrive in larger retailers later this year.
