Anesthesiologists are physicians who provide medical care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures and utilize an Anesthesia Machine.  Anesthesiologists work with other doctors to give patients' medication that relieves pain during surgery, monitor patients' vital functions throughout an operation, and also monitor and administer medication to patients through the first recovery stages after the operation.  Anesthesiologists must have completed an undergraduate degree, including premedical requirements and pass the Medical college Admissions Test (MCAT).  Just like other physicians, they must complete four years of medical school.  Anesthesiologists then must complete four years of residency training for board certification in the specialty area of anesthesiology.  The residency requires a one year medical or surgical internship followed by three years of anesthesiology training.     An ansthesiologists' role is extremely important  since it is their responsibility for a patient's life functions as the surgeon and other members of the medical team operate.

Anesthesia Delivery System Rental

The Anesthesia Delivery System is used by anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists to support the administration of anesthesia or pain relieving medicine.  The most common anesthesia machine used is the continuous flow machine.  This anesthesia machine provides an accurate and continuous supply of medical gases.  These gases are mixed with an accurate concentration of anesthetic vapors and delivered to the patient at a safe pressure and flow.  The modern machines have a ventilator, suction unit, and a patient-monitoring device.   The original concept of an anesthetic machine was invented by a British anesthetist named H.E.G. Boyle.  Before this invention, anesthetists had to often times carry all of their equipment with them.  Safety features included on the modern anesthesia machine   include an oxygen failure alarm, a nitrous cut-off or oxygen failure protection device, a ventilator alarm, and an alarm on all physiological monitors.  Anesthesia Delivery Systems are extremely important in the operating and recovery rooms of patients.
